Kris Jenner Really Wants People To Think Baby North West’s Reveal Will Be on Her Show

Kris Jenner has started the press tour for the talk show that she’s admittedly always wanted, built on the backs of her children’s work and fame. This is the same Kris Jenner who has openly admitted to wishing for more kids to exploit. In any case, what she’s really been chasing this whole time is fame of her own. Moreover, a brand to call her own. And after seven years of doing Keeping up with the Kardashians, she’s got it with the launch of Kris, an eponymous talk show for which the set is literally based on her home.
In the wake of people like Farrah Abraham and Paula Deen pulling focus—for example, this TODAY interview went largely under the radar whereas Deen’s interview is EVERYWHERE Wednesday—Jenner is apparently using her newborn granddaughter for column inches because otherwise there’s no real reason to watch her show. It’s smart, because credulous fans will watch, but she’s not promising anything she’s just saying the baby or baby photos might appear first on her show (which seems unlikely, given how resistant Kanye West is to the whole thing).
Although Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian revealed the first pics of baby Penelope on the cover of Us Weekly magazine — and Kim sold her wedding photos to People – she and Kanye are planning on keeping the first reveal of their baby girl in the family. A source tells HollywoodLife.com not to expect the first photos of baby North West in a round of weekly magazine spreads. In fact, it will likely be a few weeks until we see their precious girl.
“The plan is to keep things on lock down till Kris Jenner‘s new show,” the source says. “That is the current idea for the reveal.” Kris Jenner’s upcoming talk show Kris is set to premiere on Fox on July 15 — exactly a month after baby North was born.
Not selling their photos isn’t a huge surprise, especially since Kanye doesn’t see his first-born child as a cash cow. Another source told HollywoodLife.com: “I know Kanye’s not about to make money off that girl. Trust, that’s not going to happen. Kanye isn’t a pimp, and he damn sure isn’t about to pimp out his own daughter. That’s not in his character. Whenever he does decide to bring his girl out in public, it won’t be for money.
