Kris Jenner Salvaged Crumbling X Factor Co-Hosting Deal For Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian was nearly dropped from her X Factor co-hosting deal for which she had been a rumoured favourite of Simon Cowell for several weeks. Negotiations became protracted when her prohibitive contract with her pimps at E! or her slave-masters as she called them once, jokingly, if memory serves, nearly ruined her chances.

Kardashian was confirmed this week as co-host along with Mario Lopez. The host in season one did little-to-nothing ahead of the live shows, which is why there is no real host for the auditions this season, and who even knows what workload needs to be split between two people. It’s an overblown job for one person, and they’re sharing.

Whatever. There nearly was no deal because E! had the sense to not-so-eagerly share its cash cows, the Kardashians. But Kris Jenner knows better than to let this kind of deal pass her by, so she saved the day.

Kris Jenner single-handedly sealed the deal to make Khloe Kardashian the new co-host on X Facto right when negotiations were on the verge of imploding.

Sources connected to the deal [say] negotiations had come to a grinding halt because E! and FOX couldn’t seem to work out a deal that would allow Khloe to appear on both networks.

X Factor was getting ready to pull the plug on talks with Khloe. When Kris Jenner got word of the hold up and decided to take the bull by the horns.

Sources say Kris “stepped in over the agents… over everyone” and forced both networks to sit down with her and hash out a deal, which they eventually did… “She just knows how to make s**t happen.” – via TMZ.
