Kristen Stewart Hasn’t Worked Steadily Since Cheating Scandal; Is “Desperate” To Work Again
November 14, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Kristen Stewart was working steadily on a handful of projects per year until she was caught on the (probable) outdoor casting couch with the married director with whom she cheated on co-star boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
The 22-year-old had completed projects like The Runaways and On the Road and had been linked to projects like Cali for which she was eventually replaced as lead by Amber Heard (although Stewart’s reportedly still producing). Sources said at the time of the scandal, Stewart was too “ashamed” to work.
Well, walking The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn: Part Two Los Angeles premiere red carpet half-naked in “nude” underwear and nude colour lace, that “shame” if she ever felt any for being caught engaging in sex acts with a married father-of-two in public has clearly subsided. She’s back to work like nothing ever happened. And she’s stopped distancing herself from projects like Snow White & The Huntsman 2 that she confirmed was going ahead and she’s down as “rumoured” involvement on IMDb (although it’s not known whether she and Rupert Sanders will work together on that movie again).
Stewart’s even using the red carpet to solicit work. She’s done hiding and she’s ready to get back out there. She told press she’s “desperate” to work again because she’s not worked in months.
You’d think Kristen Stewart would want to take a nice long deserved vacation after the Twilight madness comes to an end. But no… the [girl] doesn’t want to slow down.
“I’m kinda desperate to get a job right now,” she told E! News on the black carpet tonight. “I’m itching to go back to work.”
For now, it’s all about Breaking Dawn: Part 2. “I feel really good,” she said. “I’m trying to take in every single one of these moments. I don’t want to miss one.”
And one moment she will never forget is the first day of shooting the first Twilight.
“We shot the climax of the movie at the very start of production and I almost passed out before I walked onto my first entrance,” K. Stew said. “I literally had to hold onto the door handle to not fall over.”
She added, “If you don’t feel like you’re terrified and want to pass out, it’s not worth it.” – via E! News.
