Kristen Stewart Cheating Scandal: Who’s Leaving Whom; Who Said What; False Reporting
It has been just over one week since Kristen Stewart was caught cheating with a married man. The news broke last Monday. Her team had forewarning the story would break on the cover of Us Weekly Magazine, giving her time to warn her swains. She took nearly 12-hours to respond to the public outcry, which she did by issuing an apology. Quickly followed by an apology from the director with whom she was caught making out, and more, in a parked car in view of paparazzi.
Speaking of which, Us Weekly has released some “Fact vs. Fiction” information today, and it would appear the paparazzi involved approached the magazine directly. There had been reports of a bidding war on the photos, which felt unlikely as someone who works with agencies closely, these are not the kind of exclusives you shop all over town because any embargo is meaningless when a rival leaks “KRISTEN STEWART CHEATING PHOTOS ARE BEING SHOPPED AROUND!” devaluing the offering. This is a closed-door deal for someone like Us Weekly, who were the only real option for releasing the photos (People Magazine is not the right market and the other tabloids, Star, ITW, National Enquirer are too downmarket).
Other myths about what’s happened during this scandal: a source says the U-HAUL outside the home of Stewart and Robert Pattinson is a prop planted by an unknown third-party to stage more dramatic photos: ”Someone hired the U-Haul and stunted the photograph,” an Us Weekly source explains.
Discrediting earlier reaction statements, it would appear the quote attributed to Liberty Ross’ brother is fabrication by a British tabloid. An Us Weekly source says Leopold Ross has been incommunicado: ”[Her brother] was guarded [when asked] about his sister. I know other papers had been calling him at his place… he just slammed the phone down.” A People Magazine source agrees the quote’s fake, adding: ”Rob just isn’t going to be able to get passed the cheating, one time or not, it’s something she always knew he could never tolerate.” And, Us denies RadarOnline.com’s spurious claims that Charlize Theron is angry at Stewart over the affair. It would appear the women are still close friends.
As of Monday 30, both Sanders and Ross were still wearing their wedding rings and Ross is giving the relationship another chance despite being unhappy in her marriage before the scandal: “Liberty has decided to give Rupert a second chance because of the kids,” a source told HollywoodLife.com adding the following common knowledge, “Liberty has not been happy in the relationship for some time. When they moved to Los Angeles, she felt very isolated and neglected.”
