Kristen Stewart Still Says She Never Slept With Rupert Sanders; He Seduced Her?

August 23, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Yesterday, following recent photos she’s alleged to have staged with the same paparazzi who outed her as a cheater, it became apparent Kristen Stewart’s people were leaking stories in order to make her appear sympathetic. Judging from the write-ups today, it’s not working and multiple sites are calling out the obvious spin and more obvious planted stories.

Many of this week’s soundbites are from the print edition of Us Weekly Magazine who’ve been covering this from every angle since breaking the story. In one story, it’s admitted that she’s thinking about her career comeback; keeping it in her mind with every move she makes: “The heartache with Rob is so much to bear, but Kristen has always valued her career. She doesn’t want this to jeopardize her future in acting.” Another soundbite blames married director Rupert Sanders, 41, for abusing a position of power even though Stewart’s a grown woman of 22-years-old with the wherewithal to say “no,” she chose to do wrong and she’s still not accepting responsibility for her actions (the fragile ingenue is a predictable and not very sympathetic card to play): “She insists that she and Rupert Sanders never had sex,” says a source, “Rupert’s manipulative, she didn’t go after this guy, he sought her out and she stupidly went for it.”

And RadarOnline.com sources claim Stewart’s forgiven herself for cheating after some name-dropped books and movies: “Kristen is trying to find some inner peace within herself and she is reading a lot. She has always been interested in philosophy and spirituality and she has been reading a lot of different books. Strangely enough, the one author that has really been resonating with her is Gandhi, who she decided to find out more about after watching Eat, Pray, Love. She began reading a biography of his life, then turned to Gandhi’s own writing because she was seeking solace. The quote that particularly stands out for her is, ‘The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.’ While she doesn’t know if Rob could forgive her, that statement has tempered her own regret. The remorse she has isn’t completely gone, but Gandhi’s words have certainly helped her find peace with the whole situation. Kristen isn’t beating herself up over it, she’s accepted that everyone makes mistakes and she has to learn from it.”
