Kristen Stewart: Staged New Paparazzi Photos? Planted Sympathetic Stories?

There’s been a dearth of Kristen Stewart stories the past week, with the only information being that she’s subsisting on cigarettes and coffee while watching Robert Pattinson’s interviews for clues as to whether he’s forgiven her yet. That was a somewhat sympathetic story. Although, judging by the comments on similar reports and old interviews with Stewart (for example, old YouTube interviews), people do not generally find her sympathetic. That’s probably why there are so many stories about the 22-year-old today, shortly after it’s claimed she staged new photos with the same paparazzi agency who took the notorious photos that covered Us Weekly Magazine last month.

Starting on Monday, PopSugar.com had the first post-scandal photos of Stewart since the July 24 cover. This week’s photos were many and posed by FameFlynet Pictures. FFN is the same paparazzi agency who took the photos of Stewart cheating on Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders mid-July.

According to LaineyGossip.com, website Pop Sugar paid over the odds on the FFN photos to secure an online exclusive until Wednesday when the embargo would be lifted and the tabloids could use the same photos. Moreover, it was arranged, staged, and all part of Stewart’s comeback strategy ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival were GossipCop.com, People, and Us Weekly claim she’s confirmed although Stewart was subsequently left off the list of guests released Tuesday morning (her On The Road co-stars were confirmed on the same list).

Lainey Gossip alleges: “This is the first time Stewart has been photographed since the cheating scandal broke exactly 3 weeks ago. She’s with her bodyguard/manager/personal assistant… Stewart appears to be ready to come out of hiding, gradually… The gentleman pictured with her, John, recently made a series of phone calls to photo agencies and select paparazzi inquiring about a working arrangement. They were putting together a game plan for her comeback. She looks healthy but humbled… ‘Though I am not broken, I am certainly sorry, and there is contrition behind my shades.’ You throw that out there to test the water.”

It makes sense, especially when this week’s photos do look staged. There’s more news today, in what appear to be planted stories since they’re timed so well with the new photos and they’re so suddenly sympathetic this week.

* HollywoodLife.com claims to know Stewart has been “bouncing back and forth” between her parents’ house in Woodland Hills, Calif., and her best girlfriend Scout Taylor Compton’s home in Burbank. A source says: “Her parents are begging her to stay with them because they’re worried she can’t deal with this on her own.”

* Pattinson is back in Los Angeles today, where he’s preparing to film Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight August 22.

* Apparently, Pattinson wants to know why Stewart cheated. “Rob doesn’t hate her and he’s not mad, he just doesn’t get why,” says a source. “He loves her and thinks about her constantly.”

* Although he’s apparently so scarred he’s selling the home they once shared: ”He’s selling it,” a source says. “He said there were too many memories.”

* He’s reportedly “not interested” in talking to or spending time with Stewart while promoting Breaking Dawn: Part Two, says a source from Summit Entertainment, “Kristen Stewart is definitely still in love with Rob and is going through the motions of a breakup. She really wants him back but Rob is not interested in talking to her right now and that is certainly making things difficult for the plans on doing any press together for when Twilight comes out… Chances of them being in the same room is highly unlikely. They are going to have the timing of interviews timed out to prevent awkward encounters.”

* Friends tell Us weekly Magazine they’ll probably get back together, eventually: “Rob’s dealing with a lot of indecision, but their mutual friends think they will get back together,” says a source. “Kristen, after all, has said she wants to have his children. He’s a great guy. This truly isn’t the end of them.”

* And pro-Stewart sources tell Us Weekly, the 22-year-old is breaking down: ”She isn’t sleeping and she stays up all night crying,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She’s close to a total meltdown.” Another source says she “can’t do anything… she’s so distraught.”
