Kristin Cavallari Posed In Wedding Dresses For Life & Style
Kristin Cavallari posed in a series of wedding dresses in a photo shoot for Life & Style TWO DAYS before her fiance called off the engagement. In this week’s issue, the magazine has an exclusive where Cavallari wears Mon Cheri Bridals and Anne Bowen gowns and talks about how she’s never been happier in her relationship. It’s almost 100% schadenfreude. The good stuff, not from concentrate.
“I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers,” she shared with Life & Style during the shoot at LA’s Mondrian Hotel on July 21.
Now, an insider close to Kristin reveals that the real trouble began the very next day, on July 22, when Jay asked her to fly back to Chicago with him the following morning. “Kristin said she didn’t want to because she’s working on a new TV project and had a full day of shooting scheduled for Tuesday [July 26],” the insider explains. But Jay was angry about it and the argument escalated. “He told her that she needed to commit to him, and to move to Chicago,” the insider continues. When it became clear that Kristin had no intention of giving up her career in entertainment, Jay broke up with her; returning to Chicago alone on July 23.
Starting a family was also an issue between the couple, who began dating last September. “Jay’s family was pushing Kristin to get pregnant immediately,” says the insider. “Kristin knows she’s too young for kids right now.”
Still, a friend close to Kristin tells Life & Style she was stunned and heartbroken after Jay called things off. “Kristin really loved Jay. She is devastated.” – via Life & Style.
The wedding was probably never going to take place anyway. He appeared to be interested in the relationship more than her. She just seemed to enjoy renewed interest in her and the paparazzi following her around again.
In fact, it’s reported by IDLYITW that ex-fiance Jay Cutler was defending her on his Facebook page. This is after he’d reportedly dumped her in what People’s sources made sound acrimonious. “Thank you for all the support,” he wrote on the now-deleted profile. “But if you talk bad about Kristin, I will delete and block you. It’s unnecessary and heartless. Also, don’t say now I can play football, I could play football when I had her compared to when I don’t. Football is the least of my worries, so have some respect.” Minutes earlier, he’d changed his relationship status from engaged to single (12 people awkward-liked that update).
Well, back to the photo shoot, Cavallari probably planned/ timed some of this. Somehow. Who knows how. But she’s that thirsty.
It’s surprising this week’s cover has her inset. Katie Holmes takes up most of the front page. Cavallar’s inset, with the inaccurate headline “Jilted at the altar.” She wasn’t jilted at the altar. She was dumped after the wedding had been 100% planned and probably mostly paid for. Lazy wording, that’s what that is.
