Lamar Odom Went To Rehab…. Without Telling Khloe Kardashian He Was Going

Previously, Lamar Odom’s sources leaked to ITW that he was sick and tired of the Kardashians (read: Kris Jenner) selling him out.
Lamar had gone to rehab this time last year, left after only three weeks despite his estranged wife’s best efforts to get him help, and since then Kris Jenner has been leaking information about his addiction to TMZ and Radar in particular.
Which might explain how PEOPLE got yesterday afternoon’s exclusive about Lamar going into rehab: he went without telling the family first, and (he appears to have) leaked the information to PEOPLE rather than a pro-Kardashian mouthpiece like TMZ.
Khloe Kardashian is totally unaware her estranged husband Lamar Odom entered a rehab facility — despite the fact she lead the charge for him to get help in the first place.
Sources close to the couple tell us Khloe never got so much as a heads-up about Lamar’s plans, and was completely blindsided by the report he’s checked in for treatment.
We’re told one big reason for that is Khloe and Lamar have not been talking at all since she issued an ultimatum last weekend, get help or our marriage is over, intending to force his hand on the issue of rehab.
Lamar started a treatment program last summer in San Diego, but bailed after only 3 weeks.
One source says although Khloe’s been kept outside the loop this time — she does hope wherever Lamar is … he’s actually getting professional help. – via TMZ.
According to PEOPLE, ”[Lamar] realized he needs help,” and so went into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
UPDATE: TMZ has offered another shocking update… Lamar Odom isn’t in rehab at all. Instead, he’s reportedly disappeared again.
