Lamar Odom’s Dad Blames Kardashians For Son’s Problems, Begs Son to Divorce Khloe

Lamar Odom’s father Joe is speaking out against the entire Kardashian family, and pointing blame at them for the bulk of his son’s substance abuse problems.
“They haven’t been a good influence on my son,” he told Radar Online in a scathing new interview. “It’s been the curse of his life!”
In the interview, Joe says he blames Lamar’s mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, in particular and even hints that she may have been the one to lead Lamar down the road to drug addiction.
“I blame Kris in particular, she’s been through a lot of stuff herself. She’s no Cinderella,” he says. “I can’t really say if the Kardashians are doing drugs, but my son would never use hard drugs. I can’t pinpoint right now who’s giving it him, but I’m going to investigate. The Kardashians haven’t been a good influence on my son.”
Joe also points the finger at Lamar’s wife of four years, Khloe, who he says controlled Lamar.
“I wish he had never got married to Khloe to be honest,” Joe says. “She’s controlling. Those Kardashian women all are. You get married they think they wear the pants…In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person come out of her. The mother’s like that too. The whole family, they put up an act.”
Lamar’s dad also managed to get a pretty good jab in at Khloe’s sister, Kim, in the interview, poking fun at her rise to stardom via an adult tape. “I heard Kim say they don’t have crackheads in their family. That p**sed me off,” he said. “Look at where she came from. We don’t want porno stars in our family!”
While Khloe has yet to file for legal separation from Lamar, she has recently made some very public steps towards divorce. Earlier this week she removed the “Odom” from her Instagram name (although she continues to use the Twitter handle @KhloeKardashianOdom), and on September 18 posted this very cryptic Instagram photo about masking pain with smiles.
Joe, who struggled with addiction for years before getting clean 15 years ago, says he is very worried about his son, “I love my son dearly, but my advice to him would be: Leave the drugs alone. If he is abusing drugs, he’s got to stay straight and get his life together. Go into rehab. If it is crack he is taking, he’s got to get help.”
