Lamar Odom’s Drug Dealer Speaks Out
September 3, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Lamar Odom is reportedly caught up in a nasty drug addiction. The NBA pro/Khloe & Lamar star’s drug use was brought into question after a couple of rumored mistresses came forward, claiming to have had affairs with him in recent months (one even allegedly took a lie detector test, proving that they had sexual relations). Some reports have said that Lamar was hooked on crack, others claimed it was Ambien. Either way, Lamar doesn’t seem to recognize that there is an issue and doesn’t want to go to treatment — even if his marriage depends on it.
Now, the drug dealer behind Lamar’s habit is speaking out and even he seems concerned that Lamar is headed for heartache and possibly death.
Lamar has a “huge problem and he has a very addictive personality. It is becoming worse as you can see,” the dealer-to the-stars tells Radar Online in a video interview. “He’s a pretty nice guy to be honest with you, but he’s becoming … his problem seems to be becoming a bigger problem.”
In one particular instance, Lamar reportedly spent “about 16 grand” on drugs prior to playing in the L.A. Clippers’ win over the NY Knicks at Madison Square Garden in early February — and it wasn’t for after the game. The dealer alleges that Lamar was high during the game and no one even knew. “I know it for a fact because I sold him the stuff and saw him smoke it,” he states, adding that it is cocaine that is Lamar’s drug of choice.
“In my experience, he literally likes cocaine — he is a cocaine guy. He likes to smoke it,” the dealer explains. “I do not know anything about these new developments about him using pills. I do not know anything about that. The cocaine he fancies. I would say I have heard him snort before and him speak of snorting, but in all reality, I know for a fact that he smokes it.”
As for how much Lamar has spent in the last three years since they met, the dealer claims, “Roughly, more than 50 grand… over the time I’ve known him.” And when asked if the $50,000 was spent in New York alone, he replied, “Yeah, I guess you could say that. I don’t know who else he deals with. I would imagine it could be more.”
The dealer, whose face is kept secret in the video, provided Radar with photographic proof which confirms his story and says he hopes that Lamar will get help. ”Dude, you are a drug addict,” he warns. “This is becoming to the point where you could lose your life.”
