Lea Michele Feels “At Home” On The Set Of Glee

Lea Michele is back on the set of Glee. Yesterday, the girlfriend of the late Cory Monteith arrived for filming in Los Angeles. While there, she posted a sober photo of herself gazing into the distance and shared it with her fans on social media.
“Feels so good to be home… #GleeSeason5,” Lea tweeted on Tuesday evening along with the photo above.
One day prior, Lea had been in the studio, also preparing for the fifth season of the FOX musical. “Thank you @alxanders & @AdamAnders for a great recording session today.. You guys are the best,” Lea tweeted during her visit. “Couldn’t have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with.”
Earlier this month, during a Television Critics Association panel, FOX Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly revealed that the death of Cory would be dealt with directly on the upcoming season of Glee both in the episode and in PSAs throughout the show.
“The third episode will deal with the Finn Hudson character being written out of the show,” he announced. Although he couldn’t confirm or deny if the character would die of an overdose as Cory had, the FOX exec did say that drugs would be a part of his story. “What I will tell you is that that episode will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory’s passing and with the drug abuse in particular.”
During the panel, Kevin also addressed Lea’s return to set, saying that she was “the first one to say, ‘I want to get back to work,’” and that she’s been “an extraordinary human being, a pillar of strength.”
