LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Talk About Upcoming Reality Show

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville may be thrown through a loop as rumors surface about a new show. LeAnn Rimes stated that she is in the process of doing a series with her husband, Eddie Cibrian (Glanville’s ex husband, whose relationship ended bitterly when Cibrian cheated).
Rimes and Cibrian’s relationship was scandal enough since it began while they were married to other people. Let’s see what else this couple can cook up for TV! That is, if a season actually airs.
The supposed series will follow the everyday life and struggles of the couple. The strangest part is, the two are admitting to it being scripted! Rimes told People, “We’re doing a TV show based on our reality. We’ll taking things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us- we want them to laugh with us!” It sounds like the show will only loosely be based on reality, revisiting past situations with added humor and drama.
Admitting to the “reality” show being scripted is almost like creating a new genre of television. The show could go one of two ways: either a warm and fuzzy series about the couple’s daily love life or a tense rehashing of their scandal and drama.
Glanville and Rimes already had a rocky past filled with catty tweets and full-on confrontations. Could the competing reality TV shows add fuel to the fire? If so, hopefully it will be caught on air by one of them.
