LeAnn Rimes Shills Bikini Brand On Twitter, Takes Shill To Next Level

LeAnn Rimes is one, big, bolted-on shill machine. She shills with the vigor of a Kardashian and the things she promotes are just as obnoxious. One thing, when the Kardashians are shilling things, they have the good grace to be blatant about it, “Looks, buy this crap now!” But when Rimes does it, she pretends it’s a personal endorsement and she lies to her fans pretending she’s just a fan of the product (even though laws regarding the subject urge you not to disguise compensated endorsement as personal endorsement). But that would appear to be what Rimes is doing.
For months now, in no way that is subtle, Rimes has been shilling the hideous bikinis of a specific bikini line. They appear to sell high-end products around the $200 mark. Which would be a lot for her young fans, the same ones who tweet inessential butt-kissing messages all day to which she responds. Well, she’s running with it. After months tweeting bikini photos with an @ to the brand, saying she likes their line, she’s posed for a bunch of photos on the website and she’s done an interview. Not admitting that the tweets were unethical and not admitting the shill.
Where is your favourite place to travel: “Tahiti is my favorite place I’ve ever experienced. Eddie and I stayed for 11 days. Most magical trip of our lives. We hope to take his boys back there soon.”
What is your favourite beach: “Macaroni Beach in Mystique is my favorite beach in the world!! White sand and no one around!”
What is the most exotic thing you have ever eaten, where: “I’m southern, so alligator tail is pretty interesting and yummy.”
Tan lines or no tan lines: “Tan lines all the way.”
What is in your beach bag: “In my beach bag is always Neutrogena sunscreen, burts bee’s lip balm, an Olympus EPL2 camera, a fedora, iPhone and a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Tequila.”
If you were on a desert island with five items what would they be: “My husband, my 2 stepsons, Neutrogena Sunscreen and an endless supply of sushi.”
Best beach memory: “I love Laguna Beach and it always seems to be our place for a chill family vacation. I love seeing my “bonus boys” and my husband running around in total privacy and me taking photos. I love being with them in our on little private cove. It’s pure heaven!”
Favourite bikini of [shill brand]: “Favorite suit is the white and blue stripped Sumatra banded triangle and the St. Tropez banded booty short… and the Avalon robe cover up. Love!!”
Plans for the future: “Plans for the future….it’s so hard to plan cause our lives change daily. I plan on music, film, family…..mostly family at some point.”
Biggest accomplishment so far: “I have been blessed to have experiences so much in my short lifetime. I’ve worked very hard for everything I have and nothing has come easy. My biggest accomplishment though has been, to quote the Notebook…”I’ve loved another with all my heart, and to me, this has always been enough.” What’s life without love? You can accomplish everything you want in life, but without anyone to share it with, what’s it really worth.”
She’s still delusional about a few things. She’s delusional about her influence and star power. She’s delusional about her power to shill. She’s delusional about her relationship with two boys whose family she helped destroy when she became their father’s mistress. Such an intolerably annoying twat. If at any point she admitted the covert messages to her fans this would be less annoying. But after writing about the bikini brand every few weeks, sharing photos of herself wearing the bikinis and now doing an interview, she’s gone too far in her tackiness. This may almost be tackier than that one time she slept with someone else’s husband. Almost… tackier.
On a side-note, the photos below are from the bikini brand’s website and it’s hilarious that the bolt-ons she won’t admit are running away from each other and hiding under each armpit.
