LeAnn Rimes Thinks She’s More Than A Married Mistress; She’s A Mom?

September 28, 2011 by Hollywoodite

LeAnn Rimes tried to distract from Brandi Glanville’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debut last night by writing an obnoxious blog post claiming to be a parent of the sons whose home she helped destroy.

Rimes and her second husband are only together after screwing over Glanville and Rimes’ first husband. They had an affair, he was a cheater who disrespected the mother of his children. She was a mistress who was pleased to marry someone who will later cheat on her too. They’re delusional, vapid narcissists who are perfect for each other. She’s basically still a glorified mistress; a married mistress feeling entitled to be involved in the lives of somebody else’s kids. She’s overstepped her boundaries on many occasions and she seems to have no respect for her stepsons’ mother, Glanville. Despite all this, Rimes went on a multi-paragraph rant about how her stolen family was a valid family unit… because she said so.

“No Step About It: Step…Stepmother, stepfather, stepchildren; the word ‘step’ can take on such a negative connotation to so many in our society. A family is a family. In my eyes, there’s no ‘Step’ about it… There are many obstacles to overcome… two households with different rules, many different personalities and opinions that can pose issues at times. But it’s important to take the highroad for the kids’ sake and ultimately for your own… Eddie’s son’s, I treat as if they are my own. Eddie has always encouraged me to look at us as a family and a part of our family are the two beautiful boys that we share with their mother and hopefully one day another wonderful man. One thing I know, is that I will never replace their mother, I would never try. I will however love them with all I have and do anything in my power to help raise them in a loving, safe and proper environment. Eddie and I make a conscious effort to focus on the positives in our home and try not to let the negative seep in.” – via LeAnn Rimes’ World.
