Leslie Carter: How Did She Die? Was She On Prescription Pills?
Leslie Carter has died age 25. At the time of her passing, all that had been released by her family was a statement that left out the cause of death: “Our family is grieving right now and it’s a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time.”
Brother Aaron Carter issued his own statement, soon after: “Aaron Carter would like to thank all his fans, friends and especially his cast and crew at The Fantasticks for their outpouring of love and support during this tragic time. I am with my family spending much needed time together as we deal with this private matter. I look forward to returning to my Fantasticks’ Family and performing the role of ‘Matt’ for all my amazing fans. Again, I request privacy for my family and no further statements will be made at this time.”
Nick Carter has since cancelled upcoming, booked tour dates; instead dedicating the tour to his late sister.
The extended family, and the remaining House Of Carters reality siblings Bobbie Jean Carter and Angel Carter, have asked for privacy.
However, there are a LOT of rumours today about the death. Mostly because the COD was not released by the family and the autopsy gave no further insight (the autopsy was completed, yet revealed no cause). So, all that was left was speculation about the mother of 10-month-old Alyssa Jane Ashton and wife to Mike Ashton.
TMZ.com sources claim she had issues with prescription pills for which she had “recently moved from Canada to Upstate New York,” with family, in order to get clean. Relatives left for an hour, to run errands, and Carter was unconscious upon their return. Paramedics were called but she could not be revived. Her daughter was not in the home at the time.
