Life & Style Can Make Up Odd Numbers Too: “Khloe & Lamar Odom $75 Million Divorce”

Previously, it was noted that the tabloids use odd numbers to bolster the veracity of divorce stories. In short, they make up a realistic-sounding ballpark number, and add it in giant writing next to the headline “DIVORCE.” And, apparently, it makes fabrication sound a little more real.
For example, once, in 2012, Star Magazine fabricated a “$175 million” divorce of Bruce and Kris Jenner cover. A year later, Star were calling it a “$200 million divorce.” Last week’s Star cover said Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are having a “$67 million divorce.”
This week’s Life & Style is more of the same. This cover claims Khloe Kardashian and Lamar are getting a “$75 million” divorce.
The cover says “I deserve better. $75 million divorce. The family intervention that made her see sense; Inside Khloe and Lamar’s crisis meeting; The mistress’ latest dirty bombshell. PLUS All the details of the shocking prenup.” Remember, there is NO PROOF of an affair. One of the two alleged mistresses who sold her story for money claimed to have “proof,” like the tabloid claimed she passed a lie detector test. However, there was no proof. None. Just nonsense documents that didn’t even tie the mistress to Odom. And the “intervention” is basically Kris Jenner forbidding Khloe from getting divorced because it’ll look bad.
