Broke Lindsay Lohan Turns Down $550,000 Offer To Appear On Dancing With The Stars

Lindsay Lohan’s amazing decision-making knows no bounds.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Lohan turned down a plea deal that would have meant rehab and no jail. But she decided to risk almost a year of incarceration to prove that she’s innocent of lying to police about last year’s car wreck. This is despite police in Los Angeles claiming to have a wealth of proof of her guilt. She says she’s innocent and she’s willing to risk serious time to prove it. This is the same asleep-at-the-wheel decision-making that led her to accidentally fire her lawyer and accidentally hire some random of ill-repute whom she probably founds in the phone book.

And she’s broke. Really broke. Like, when the IRS seized her assets, everyone’s first reaction was “there’s no money in her bank accounts anyway!” And they were basically right. By Lohan’s own admission, she’s often paid in cash and gives the cash to her brother to hold, and the rest is wasted spending beyond her means (this spending does not involve paying her bills).

Despite basically not having a penny to her name and relying on rich friends to pay for everything, she’s turned down easy money for Dancing with the Stars who leaked the news to TMZ.com and then got all “We don’t comment on casting” when asked for official comment.

Apparently, there were multiple offers maxing out at $550,000 before they stopped trying. Lohan is telling friends, she isn’t interested in doing a reality show at all and she would rather stick to acting… even though the NYT expose on The Canyons made her un-hirable.
