Lindsay Lohan Is A “Diva” Who’s Often Late & Doesn’t Know Her Lines For Liz & Dick

Between 2009 and 2011, Lindsay Lohan shilled hard for a leading role in Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno only to be fired and replaced before shooting a single scene because she kept getting arrested and her legal troubles caused an insurance and logistical nightmare. Then she was booted from Steven Soderbergh project Magic Mike after the director decided she wasn’t worth the effort. And she was eventually dropped from the Gotti movie for which she invited herself to a press conference and posed for photographers despite never officially signing on to the role reduced from leading to a supporting role that required nudity (moreover, she was only considered after personally phoning producers and begging for a part).
It’s her shtick: she’ll shill hard for a role, to keep her name in the press, only to get in legal trouble at some point during the production.
It happened so often, said TMZ Live, that Lifetime was compelled to get “incarceration insurance” to pay if Lohan were sent to jail before shooting wrapped (sound familiar? Inferno producers insisted on a “sobriety clause” in 2010). And the insurance company was so worried about Lohan’s driving that they added a prohibitive clause for the duration of the shoot. So Lifetime provided Lohan with a limo. The same limo that followed behind on the day she crashed her luxury rental.
She’s a mess. Who can’t stay out of trouble. And she’s thanking Lifetime for the second chance with a contrived sick day and missed call times. And she’s a nightmare on set too, according to this week’s tabloids. According to new reports, Lohan is a “diva” who’s frequently late and she’s so busy bullying her co-star she can’t find time to learn her lines.
Word from the set of Liz & Dick is that Lindsay Lohan is clashing with her costar Grant Bowler. Apparently, she was biased against Grant from the beginning, having delusionally believed her own star power was worthy of leading men like Gerard Butler, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg and even Brad Pitt.
Consequently, she’s been so mean to Grant that her comeback is in jeopardy.
“The crew is fed up with Lindsay because they have to spend so much time dealing with her diva antics and, in turn, trying to soothe Grant’s battered ego,” says a Star Magazine source…
Lindsay Lohan has been a nightmare on the set of Liz & Dick and everyone is working round-the-clock to finish the film before she self-destructs, National Enquirer sources say. Lohan is often late, can’t concentrate and flubs her lines, insiders say.
“Most days she shows up two hours late and she rarely knows her lines. A production assistant has to feed them to her,” said a set insider. “She’s completely unfocused and she keeps running over to the director, but he doesn’t have a clue how to handle her. The footage so far has been just awful.”
Meanwhile, the film’s producer Larry A. Thompson is trying to keep his concerns in check, said the insider.
“He had a hell of a time obtaining insurance for the shoot and is on tenderhooks every day that something is going to happen to Lindsay,” explained the insider. “If that’s the case, they’ll have to shut down the production!”
The producer said he was forced to buy pricey insurance for Lindsay since she’s done five different stints in drug rehab. Filmmakers cringed when Lindsay slammed her Porsche into a truck on June 8, and the accident is being investigated and it could lead to her probation being revoked.
Said the insider: “If the judge rules that she violated her parole and sends her to jail, Lifetime is looking at a $5 to $6 million washout.” – via Star, Enquirer, Celebitchy.
