Lindsay Lohan: Elizabeth Taylor Role, Lawsuits, Philipp Plein Adverts

January 11, 2012 by Hollywoodite

There are several Lindsay Lohan updates and it’s easier to shoehorn them into one place since she can’t seem to contain her shenanigans or legal woes.

* Today’s biggest Lohan news, according to Deadline.com, she’s in talks to star as Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie. People are rather worked up about this, despite Deadline’s making it rather clear Lohan is currently in talks. Talks. It’s unlikely anything’s been signed yet. The die has hardly been cast. She’s been demoted to Lifetime; budget, forgettable, filler movies, the likes of which are how Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mischa Barton keep their lights on. It’s rather bottom rung, it’s embarrassing. She’s struggled to get anything signed or stay on board any project without being demoted since Inferno. It’ll be… interesting. The likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Drew Barrymore made similar moves, but then Lohan’s hardly in the same league.

* Lohan doesn’t pay taxes. Not always, anyways. The IRS filed a lien for not paying federal taxes in the amount of $93,ooo in 2009.

* She’s being sued by a paparazzo for sitting inside a car he claims injured him during in January 2010. Grigor Baylan, the paparazzo, filed a lawsuit against Lohan, Paola Demara and Tri Star Sports Entertainment, in court documents that state: ”On or about January 10, 2010, Baylan was struck by the vehicle driven by defendant as he was taking photographs of a celebrity inside the vehicle.” He’s seeking $25,000 damages.

* Her Philipp Plein adverts have been released and one gathers it took from the September photo shoot until now to Photoshop them, worked as they look.
