Lindsay Lohan Enters Rehab For Real This Time, Thanks to Former Attorney
May 3, 2013 by TiffanyNikole
Lindsay Lohan has to be the unluckiest-luckiest person in the world.
After a whirlwind Thursday including a court appearance, two-minute rehab stint, electronic shopping, lies and a failed last minute trip to NYC, Lohan has checked into the Betty Ford Clinic.
We previously reported that Lohan had checked into Morningside Recovery Center as her lawyer, Mark Heller, appeared before Judge James R. Dabney to clear up the approved rehab drama. Only, Lohan had NOT actually checked into rehab. Instead, she told the staff she did not need rehab and went shopped at Fry’s Electronic Store and then went AWOL.
Well, not for nothing, Lohan has emerged somewhat victorious (as optimistic as one can be in her situation) in this ordeal all thanks to Lohan’s former lawyer, Shawn Holley.
Lohan fired Holley back in January and hired Heller, an attorney from New York, whom she probably assumed would be able to get her better plea deal. However, in the heat of the night, Holley took Ms. Lohan back and magically brokered a deal with the Los Angeles City Attorney.
A source close to Lohan told Radaronline.com:
“Lindsay went back to rehab last night, and arrived before midnight. Lindsay ISN’T back at Morningside. Her former attorney, Shawn Holley, was officially brought back on the case yesterday after Lindsay was calling her all day Thursday, Shawn was able to convince prosecutors that Lindsay was taking rehab seriously, but her former attorney, Mark Heller, bungled everything. Right now, Lindsay is focused on getting better. She wanted the drama to end, and that is why she fired Mark Heller. She was literally telling Shawn she would sell a body part if she would take her on as a client again. Shawn agreed, and Lindsay appreciates everything she has done for her. When Shawn says jump, Lindsay will automatically do so.”
Hopefully, Lohan’s second stint at the Betty Ford Clinic will turn out a lot better than last time, let’s just hope she keeps her hands to herself.
