Lindsay Lohan Is “Exhausted” Says Rep: What Happened? Is She Okay?

June 15, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Last Friday, there was a report that could, honestly, quite easily have been an obituary had Lindsay Lohan slammed any harder into the back of the truck that totaled her rented Porsche. After the accident, she was treated at hospital where she lied to police that her assistant was driving. The assistant was left to wait for paramedics while Lohan fled the scene and her people reportedly attempted to bribe the truck driver and cover up specifics about the crash. Lohan later blamed her breaks and the other driver forgetting the earlier lies she told, for which she’s now in danger of having probation revoked for providing falsified information to police.

And now, one week later, she’s hitting headlines in what feels like another eerie close call.

Lohan has reportedly been shooting Liz & Dick non-stop for days without rest nor sleep while residing at the penthouse of the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, CA in close proximity to one of Lifetime’s sets. Lohan complained of not feeling well Friday morning, specifically of exhaustion, and phoned one of Lifetime’s production team who in turn sent over a private doctor. Prior to arrival, notes TMZ.com, the doctor requested hotel staff check on Lohan. A member of hotel staff checked and determined Lohan was “unresponsive.” According to RadarOnline.com though, Lohan was just “sound asleep when paramedics arrived at the hotel. She had worked all night on the set of Liz & Dick and was absolutely exhausted.”

The RadarOnline source insists that Lohan was fine the whole time, she’s just a heavy sleeper: ”For some unknown reason, someone at the hotel called 911 and reported that she was unconscious. She wasn’t unconscious, she was sleeping heavily. She has been awake ever since the paramedics got to her room. She is going to be fine.”

Someone from production called 911 though, not hotel staff, clarifies Lohan’s rep. Paramedics responded, determined the actress was fine, and left without taking Lohan to hospital. Nor did she go to hospital herself. Soon after, Lohan was back on set.

Her rep issued a statement: ”Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration. Lindsay was never taken to a hospital, reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon.”

And the 25-year-old tweeted about the incident which amounted to over-sleeping: ”Note to self.. After working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion (sic). 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door. Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down.”
