Producers Angry Enough To Stick Lindsay Lohan With Gift Tax for Million Dollar Decorators

Lindsay Lohan appeared on an episode of Million Dollar Decorators that you may have missed because it was a complete failure of production that Bravo buried over the New Year where they knew no one would see it.

The two-part episode was intended to showcase a remodel of Lohan’s $8,000-per-month rental that she’s since lost because she can no longer afford the rent. But she was living there this time last year when she approached a Bravo designer at a party and landed $250,000 of furnishings in exchange for participating in the program. However, once she got the free goods, she stopped taking producers’ calls (this was somewhat ameliorated by producers who made it look like she was incapacitated when what really happened was she gave them the run around and took their goods under false pretenses).

Earlier reports made it clear Bravo producers weren’t thrilled that she botched her episode; being angry enough to want to repossess the goods that Lohan had since transferred into a secret storage facility while she moved house. And subsequent reports claim that, in further retaliation, producers are angry enough to stick her with the luxury gift tax that would otherwise have been paid by the show.

A source told RadarOnline.com:“Producers had planned on paying the luxury gift tax on the furniture that was given to Lindsay for her Beverly Hills rental house. Lindsay was given $250,000 of beautiful furniture, but when she failed to agree to appear on Million Dollar Decorator for the big reveal of the work that was done on her rental house, the producers decided they weren’t going to pay the taxes. Lindsay will probably have to pay between $25,000 and $50,000 in taxes on the furniture.”
