Lindsay Lohan Will Host Saturday Night Live March 3, 2012

Someone took pity on Lindsay Lohan and threw her a bone. A much needed one. Because Lohan has yet to land and keep a credible job since she was cast and fired from Inferno in late 2010 (since then, she’s been dumped from a Soderberg movie and demoted, on paper, from a supporting role in Gotti: Three Generations to a glorified cameo with nudity).
And now Lohan has taken to shilling for a weak-sounding Elizabeth Taylor biopic for which Megan Fox was also considered, according to producers, but from which Fox quickly distanced herself. But Lohan’s so desperate she’s wearing tees with Taylor’s face and posing with the Furious Love book as her contrived way of letting the biopic producers know she’s serious.
And now, in a gig she had to beg for and book herself, producers confirm Lohan, 25, will host Saturday Night Live.
“SNL! I love @NBC !!!!!!!!!!!!!,” she tweeted this weekend. After which the show tweeted, “That’s right: March 3rd, @lindsaylohan with musical guest Jack White!! See you then! #SNL #March3r.”
