Lindsay Lohan Will Move Back to New York After Completing Rehab

It looks like the glitz and glam of Hollywood is dead and gone for LiLo. The 27-year-old former Cady Heron (her birthday was on July 2nd and was quietly celebrated with some friends from her rehab) is moving to her hometown of New York after wrapping up her last month at rehab, her mom Dina Lohan told the Daily News.
On June 4th, Dina told the Daily News that Lindsay will get a belated birthday party on Long Island and will move on with her work and court-ordered community service away from the celebrity spotlight. She is currently in the last weeks of serving her required 90-day rehab sentence at Cliffside Malibu after leaving Betty Ford in June. Her new, temporary rehab home is luxurious with a plethora of amenities, according to the Daily News.
Dina did not get to celebrate Lindsay’s birthday with her “because it fell during the week,” but plans to visit her again before she finally gets out. Lindsay even got to enjoy fireworks from Cliffside’s Pacific Ocean coastline for the Fourth of July.
When it comes to Lindsay getting better, Dina is definitely optimistic. “It’s been a long road and she’s going to be fine,” she said. She believes that Lindsay has finally reached a “turning point” after her sixth rehab sentence in six years. Lindsay was ordered to a sentence in lockdown rehab back in March after she pleaded “no contest to reckless driving and lying to police about a car crash on a Santa Monica highway last year,” the Daily News reported.
