Lindsay Lohan Opens Up About Her Troubles On Oprah’s Next Chapter
August 5, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Oprah Winfrey recently scored the highly coveted post-rehab interview with Lindsay Lohan. Lohan has just completed a 90-day court-ordered rehab and following her release, she joined Winfrey on her hit series, Oprah’s Next Chapter. During the interview, Winfrey asked Lohan the tough questions on everyone’s mind.
“Are you an addict?” Winfrey questions Lohan in the just-released first look at the upcoming episode. “What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for child-star-gone-wrong?”
Lohan looks a bit uncomfortable with what she’s being asked, but for her, this is a chance to redeem herself and finally get back to a place where she is taken seriously as an actress. After all the headlines, the news reports, and the charges that have been brought against her, Lohan is no longer the sought after actress she once was. For some, she’s more of a headache and a liability than anything else. Hopefully, her coming clean and being honest, will help her get back to a better place both personally and professionally.
In addition to the interview, Lohan has also signed on to do an eight-episode series with the OWN Network in which she will be documented as she tries to put her bad girl image in the past and move forward in her career — all while staying sober.
“She is taking this really serious,” a source tells E! News of Lohan’s journey into a successful, sober lifestyle. “She wants people to know the days of her clubbing and partying are over and she is a new girl.”
To see Lohan’s full interview, tune in to Oprah’s Next Chapter on Sunday, August 18, at 9/8c on OWN.
