Lindsay Lohan hosted Saturday Night Live March 3, 2012 (the bumper photos can be found HERE).

It was reported by TMZ.com that Lohan would be open to mocking herself. However, she had her lawyer “vet certain jokes because she doesn’t want to anger the Los Angeles judge who’s supervising her community service punishment.” Which could explain how this weekend’s episode became so uneven and tepid.

Lohan appears to have planted her own spin for the show using mouthpieces TMZ and RadarOnline. Hence the superlative-heavy stories about how much the SNL cast “loved” her “professionalism” during rehearsals. It was an exercise in spin that probably mollified those Lohan really sought to impress.
