Lindsay Lohan Still Slacking, Cherry-Picking Her Community Service
September 22, 2011 by Hollywoodite
Lindsay Lohan is still slacking and cherry-picking the parts of her community service she feels like doing rather than getting the hours out of the way.
Lohan was ordered to complete 480 hours of service of which she’s only done 60 to date. At her last court hearing, Lohan was ordered by the judge to come back with significantly more hours under her belt. She’s done about 15 hours the last three-months. Judge Stephanie Sautner was very clear, she would accept no excuses as to why the hours at the women’s shelter and morgue were not completed. And yet Lohan’s only completed 60 of the 380 hours at the women’s shelter and none at the morgue. Meaning at her October hearing… well, she’ll probably just get yelled at again.
Lindsay’s next court date, which she was previously ordered to attend, is on October 17, 2011 for a progress report hearing. Los Angeles Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lindsay to 380 hours of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center, and 100 hours at the Los Angeles County Morgue.
“Lindsay has completed about 60 hours at the Downtown Women’s Center. Lindsay hasn’t done any time at the morgue,” a source close to the situation [says].
“Lindsay has completed her shoplifters awareness class but is falling behind on her other commitments. Lindsay’s team is telling her she needs to log significant time to show the judge that she is working towards completing her hours, but she is ignoring them. Lindsay’s rationale is that she has a year to complete the service, so she isn’t concerned about it right now.” – via RadarOnline.
She’s actually going to Milan for some cracked-out modelling job this weekend. And she’s been at NYFW starting fights, throwing drinks on people, and sleeping with a hotel owner to gain entry to an event at his venue. And that’s ignoring the three films from which she’s been demoted or fired the last two years… but you just know Lohan will claim she has been “too busy with work commitments” like NYFW and the club to do more hours or even make a DENT in the morgue service. Here’s hoping she’s back in jail for a few minutes in October. That’ll teach her.
