Lindsay Lohan Suspect In Jewel Theft; Twitter Photos Of “Her” Jewels

Lindsay Lohan acted smug last week, when she got to leave town immediately after being questioned along with her assistant Gavin Doyle by Los Angeles police in the case of over $100,000 worth of jewels and watches being stolen from a party to which she attended and let friends in whom police suspect committed the burglary. At the time, she wrote “All of this negative press is BS. Whenever I’m doing great, people fabricate lies. It’s such a shame. I’m just sayin’ xo”

It’s not even a week later, and she’s been upgraded from just a witness of the theft, to a person of interest, to suspect, because police believe Lohan allowed friends into a private residence full of witnesses in order for the friends to steal. The victim of the crime recanted his whole story to police this weekend, though, which Lohan’s father was keen to brag about as the case was nearly closed. However, police are refusing to close the case when there are apparent witnesses who can identify Lohan and Doyle as guilty/ co-conspirators.

There’s more, remember when Paris Hilton was caught by Las Vegas police with cocaine in her black Chanel purse, claimed the purse wasn’t hers, but she was caught in a lie because she tweeted photos of the same purse while bragging about the purchase days earlier? Lohan went one better. Only days after being accused of jewel and watch theft, Lohan shared photos of “her” jewels and watches on Twitter with another smug caption because she’s the world’s most smug jewel thief. She wrote: “Cleaning MY jewels… I love feeling like Elizabeth [Taylor].”
