Lisa Vanderpump Prefers Filming Vanderpump Rules Over RHOBH

Lisa Vanderpump has her hands full in life. Not only is she running two successful restaurants in Los Angeles while constructing plans for a third, she’s also starring in two reality shows.

For Lisa, her restaurants are like her babies and she’d never pick a favorite, but when it comes to her shows, Lisa doesn’t hesitate to say that she prefers to film Vanderpump Rules over The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“[My costars] are so funny, and so fresh and they’re so naughty and sometimes I feel like I’m on a runaway train with them,” Lisa gushed to In Touch Weekly of her Vanderpump Rules co-stars. “They are naughty but they make me laugh and the funny thing is that they move on so very quickly.”

Although the show just began one year ago, the stars, including Scheana Marie, Jax Taylor, and Stassi Schroeder, have known each other for years, which makes their on-screen chemistry quite natural. “They are so young and they have known each other for so long,” Lisa explains. “This isn’t a group that came together, this is a group that worked together for six or seven years.”

While Lisa may prefer filming with the younger crowd, she does admit to feeling a bit sad about what has happened between herself and the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, namely her one-time close friends Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville.

“Whenever there is a discord or dispute, how can you not be [sad]?” she asked. “I think if you love something and you support them and you have seen that in some of these relationship then of course you are, I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t feel [sad]. Of course there have been moments when I felt like that.”

Luckily, Lisa has found a friend in Carlton Gebbia, one of two new wives added to the cast for season 4, and says that she likes her ”very much” — but that was it. To see how close they get, Lisa says fans will just have to wait and see. ”I don’t want to say anything right now. You are going to have to watch it!” she says.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on November 4 at 8/7c.
