Maci Bookout Announces New MTV Special

Maci Bookout and her son Bentley Edwards starred on MTV’s Teen Mom for four seasons before it was cancelled due to Amber Portwood’s incarceration. Since then, Bookout fans have been dying to see more of her and her adorable son. Now, they will finally get it. Moments ago, Bookout teamed up with MTV to announce that she is coming back to the network that made her famous.

“We have something special for you,” Bookout’s now four-year-old begins in a new video posted to MTV’s official website.

“We do have something special for you!” Bookout confirms. “It is a special coming to MTV and it is called ‘Being Maci.’ It is on August at 18th at 10:00pm. Be sure to check it out.”

On Teen Mom, Bookout was followed as she raised her young son after spliting from former fiance and baby daddy Ryan Edwards. The pair had a messy break-up just months after their son’s birth and from then on, co-parenting wasn’t easy. Luckily, since filming has wrapped, things have been much easier for the former pair. In fact, they’ve become friends in recent months.

While there’s no word on whether or not Edwards will be featured on the show, it is likely that fans will get to meet the new love in Bookoout’s life. For the last year, she’s been dating motocross rider Taylor McKinney. Although the two live in different states, she’s in Tennessee and he travels between Oklahoma and Texas, their relationship is quite serious and they appear to get along great. He’s even met Ryan and the rest of the Bookout clan.

Regardless of who will be seen on the show, it will be great to finally get caught up with what MTV’s favorite Teen Mom has been up to for the last several months.

Being Maci airs Sunday, August 18 at 10:00pm on MTV.
