Mackenzie Douthit And Josh McKee Are Having A Baby Girl

Mackenzie Douthit is having a girl! The Teen Mom 3 star announced that she and her husband Josh McKee would be welcoming a baby girl, their second child, over the weekend in the form of a cute video clip.
“Watch to find out what im having!” Mackenzie captioned the video posted to Instagram on Saturday evening.
In the video, Mackenzie announces that her husband and friends are about to find out the gender of her baby for the first time. Then, the camera goes to Josh, whom she married in early summer of this year (they officially wed in June but held their ceremony in August). Josh is seen wearing a blue shirt and cutting into a cake covered in white icing and filled with pink to signify that he will soon be the father of a baby girl.
Later on Twitter, Mackenzie told fans, “Josh cannot stop smiling. He’s always wanted a little princess to look after.”
While Mackenzie and Josh are over the moon with joy in regards to their baby news at this point, it wasn’t always that way. In fact, Mackenzie was highly criticized by some for getting pregnant a second time while still in her teens which led to a very defensive pregnancy announcement on Facebook.
“For everyone wondering, I’m 12 weeks pregnant,” Mackenzie told fans in early August. “I have reached my breaking point and have literally been through hell and back these last three days. I have kept this a secret because im probably the easiest target of all miami to judge. I only told cause people are asking why im fat lol…. So im not texting anyone back right now I need some time to myself.”
Since Mackenzie was 12 weeks along at the time of the pregnancy announcement, she and Josh will likely be welcoming their second child sometime in late February.
