Maddy Godsey Added To The Cast Of 16 & Pregnant Season 5
Maddy Godsey is the latest pregnant teen to join the cast of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant. Maddy is from Tinley Park, Illinois and is expecting a baby girl, whom she will name Aubrey Lynn, with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Cody.
After finding out that she was pregnant, Maddy dropped out of her high school and enrolled in an alternative school where she is currently studying. As for her relationship status with Cody, that seems to be a bit complicated.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Maddy had been dating Cody (above right) for about two years prior to the pregnancy but now, it is unclear whether or not they are together. Yesterday, it was reported that they had split, but in an update, the site claimed they may still be together. Either way, Maddy is close with Cody’s family and that’s always a good sign.
Unfortunately, Maddy’s pregnancy hasn’t been taken very well by the residents of her town. One person even took to Facebook to slam her for allowing herself to get pregnant at such a young age. ”I made a mistake, but I don’t regret it,” she told her critic. “I’m doing my best to be the best mother I can be for my daughter.”
Yesterday, it was reported that Karley Deatherage-Shipley was the first person to be added the season 5 cast of 16 & Pregnant. She is expecting twins with her husband, Tony Shipley, in December.
So far, there has been no word on a premiere date for the show.
