Madonna Still Hates Hydrangeas, Doesn’t Hate “Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies & Milk & Little Puppies”

Madonna possibly has the most sarcastic, passive-aggressive rep in the entire entertainment industry. REALLY. Yikes.

The title is the reply when Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, was asked to clarify some comments made this week.

First, there was the incident in which Madonna mocked someone for giving her a bunch of flowers. Because hydrangeas murdered her family… or something.

And there was the anti-Gaga comment in which the singer mocked the poor man’s version of herself for being… the poor man’s version of herself, “…as for Lady Gaga, I have no comment to make about her obsessions having to do with me because I don’t know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful, or superficial.”

Rosenberg on Madonna’s Gaga comments: “She didn’t diss Gaga.”

Rosenberg on the hydrangea incident: “The hydrangea incident is so ridiculous… It’s not like she said she hated warm chocolate chip cookies and milk and little puppies! She’s entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn’t want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world. No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers.” – via CNN.

Does anyone else feel like someone was beaten about the face and neck immediately after those comments were made? We’ve got out clarification, so let’s never speak of this again.
