Us Weekly: Marc Anthony Using Custody Battle To Punish Jennifer Lopez

Spoiler: nothing has ever not happened as much as this never happened.

Paying this lip service, since the pro-Jennifer Lopez tabloid, Us Weekly, has stuck the knife into Marc Anthony again with another smear cover. Remember, at the time of the divorce, Lopez agreed to give Us Weekly her exclusive story. However, the plan was foiled when Anthony found out and ran to People with an early exclusive (Lopez gave Us Weekly post-split access instead, so they’re on good terms, according to LaineyGossip.com).

So, Us Weekly remain biased, bitter and spiteful. Noted.

The tabloid claims: “‘The pictures proved that her relationship with Casper was blossoming, and Marc couldn’t handle that. He has a bad temper, so it caused a huge blowup between him and Jennifer. [Marc is] going back on his word and saying he wants joint custody [rather than Lopez in primary custody, as is the current arrangement]. He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she’s having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her at the deepest level. He is furious over it and filled with jealousy. He would do anything to break them up.”

Moreover: “The kids are not a priority to him… but Marc is nasty and knows that this is Jennifer’s weakness.”

There’s a lot of supposition in that report. And there’s a reason. Never happened.

It’s established Anthony’s spiteful and has control issues. However, he and Lopez reportedly still sleep together, holiday together, and have amicably handled custody up until very recently. Custody battles become evident when papers are filed. Which none have yet.

GossipCop.com sources add: “It’s all crap. [There’s] no jealousy on Marc’s end. All he cares about is the well-being of his children.”
