Mark Zuckerberg & Priscilla Chan Are Married: Wedding Photos

Mark Zuckerberg got married on Saturday at his home in Palo Alto, California.
Zuckerberg, 28, and his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan, 27, met at Harvard University and they have been together for nine years (while The Social Network conjectures Zuckerberg was still a pining, lovelorn misogynist).
The wedding took place in front of less than 100 friends and family who thought they were attending a surprise party for Chan, who graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine with a Medical Degree last Monday. Chan wore a simple white wedding gown (and, after some snide mocking of her weight, she appeared to have lost a little weight). Zuckerberg reportedly designed a “simple ruby” wedding ring for his bride.
The day of, they updated their life events on Facebook, changed their statuses to “Married,” and uploaded their wedding portrait.
Despite speculation to the contrary, no, the wedding date was not a prenup ploy to circumvent his $16.9 billion income from the IPO since its date wasn’t known until days before, and the wedding was four-months in the planning timed to coincide with the graduation. Chan graduated Monday, also Zuckerberg’s birthday, and Facebook went public four days later making Zuckerberg worth $19 billion.
The wedding follows Bill Gates outing the couple as engaged June last year, mentioning that Chan was Zuckerberg’s “fiancee” during an unrelated interview.
