Melissa Gorga Is Ready To End Her Feud With Teresa Giudice
Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have feuded for years on The Real Housewives of New Jersey — and off. However, that may soon change. Now that Caroline and Jacqueline are off the show, Melissa and Teresa are hoping to turn over a new leaf and join forces before the new girls arrive on the scene.
“Melissa is over the bickering,” an insider reveals to Radar Online. And she’s not the only one. According to the source, Teresa is “really trying” with Melissa and hopes to put their feud to rest once and for all — but that may prove difficult.
Since Melissa and Teresa have been at each other’s throats for so long, it is going to be hard to put that in the past and move forward without holding a grudge.
“Teresa has spent so much time fighting with Melissa that it is going to be hard for her to stop,” the source says. “She has so much animosity toward her and all of the lies that she felt like she told that she isn’t going to let things go.”
Still, the dynamic is sure to work in their favor. Since three new wives are being brought on for season 6, and Kathy has reportedly been downgraded, Teresa and Melissa will be the only returning wives on the show which could set them up as a team, taking on the show’s added wives. That would certainly be nice for their family and an interesting change for fans to see as well.
Following the season 5 finale, Melissa took to her Bravo blog where she discussed her relationship with Teresa as well as what she hopes for their future.
“Teresa and I are in a good spot and we want to remain that way,” she wrote. “[I] would love for the fans and other people in our lives to see that and stay positive for us. I’m proud of our family. We have managed to move past the issues that were hurting us so much and are still working hard to never go back to that negative place again.”
