Melissa Gorga’s Former Friend Jan DeDolce Admits That Teresa Giudice Is “Always Trying To Bring Her Down”
Melissa Gorga and her former friend Jan DeDolce came face-to-face during a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. On the show, Teresa Giudice was hosting an event for her Milania Hair Care which they were both attending. Teresa knew that the pair had their issues but thought that the event could be the perfect place for Melissa to speak her peace. Unfortunately, all that came of their meeting were shocking allegations of cheating made against Melissa.
Because of Teresa’s involvement in the event’s guest list, many thought that this could have been a set-up, much like last season’s Strippergate, but Teresa denied it. Then, last week, she and Jan were spotted out at a local restaurant which raised even more questions.
In a new interview, Jan is speaking out about their recent meeting and dishing on the dynamic in Melissa and Teresa’s feud.
“Yeah Teresa and I were at a dinner together after the book signing, but we were all there, it wasn’t just me and her,” Jan confirms to In Touch. “I’ve known Teresa for a long time and every time we see each other, we would always talk no matter what, even if I was friends with Melissa and she was there.”
Teresa and Jan have long known who each other was, but they have only just begun getting closer and exploring a friendship. Now that Jan has gotten to know both sides, she better understands why Melissa and Teresa can’t seem to get along. “I understand Melissa’s animosity towards Teresa,” Jan admits. “Melissa can’t trust Teresa because Teresa is always trying to bring her down.”
While Jan doesn’t rule out a future friendship with Teresa, she isn’t so sure about a reconciliation with Melissa. “I don’t think I could be friends with [Melissa] again,” she states.
