Michael Abraham: Farrah is “working hard to improve herself for her child, family, and friends”

Farrah Abraham is going to be on the new season of VH1′s Couples Therapy without her boyfriend DJ Brian Dawe.

Previously, after getting a DUI, Farrah entered rehab. She left under contentious circumstances but it was reported at the time that she entered at the behest of her management and only did it for publicity for Finding Farrah, the reality show deal that fell through during pre-production.

Now she’s going to be on VH1 and her father says it’s not a stunt, she really wants and needs the help.

“The show (on VH1) will be the most amazing filming of Farrah,” wrote Mike Abraham on Facebook recently. “She is working hard to improve herself for her child, herself, her family, friends, her business partners, and everyone she encounters.”

He continues, “I am very proud of Farrah for the positive steps she has taken and hope the world will also see her improvements and efforts. I love you so very much Farrah!”

In subsequent replies to fans, Mike adds, “I’m far from perfect but my purpose is to correct my mistakes, love and motivate my loved ones and people around me, teach forgiveness, cultivate hope, and make a positive difference in the would… Besides other blessings that come my way.”

He adds, in another reply, “People that go through depression also are known to be self destructive…. The video (yes a private video before it was leaked without authorization) can’t be removed but Farrah has accomplished more positives as a teen and a 22 year old than most people twice her age. From awareness for teen pregnancy to the many families that contact us saying our families story helped save their grandchildren from abortions to mentoring young single parents…those are few of the many positives Farrah has to her credit that many over look…”

He insists, the tape was “private” and leaked. “We know the truth,” Mike writes, “and I’m telling the truth….. Not the press and the “want-to-be’s or bloggers…or past and fired managers trying to manipulate things….and I’m not ashamed of NOTHING ….”
