Michael J. Fox Speaks About Taylor Swift Incident At The Golden Globe Awards
Looks like Tina Fey isn’t the only one who thinks that Taylor Swift should stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son. The actor himself has commented on the incident that left the 2013 Golden Globe Awards audience buzzing.
While speaking to Vulture, Fox was asked if he would have a problem with his son dating Swift. He responded by saying: “No. No… Just back off.”
Wow, a little protective are we? The Back To The Future star added even more fuel to the fire by adding that, even though he doesn’t know much about the singer, he knows that she would write a negative song about his son. “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everyone she goes out with, right?” he asked.
Fox then stated that he wouldn’t even recognize Swift if she were brought home, but still jokingly stated that the song would go something like “Sam, you piece of s**t…” which would remind him “Oh… that was the girl you brought home.”
Fox’s comments come a few days after Swift was mocked by Golden Globe hosts Fey and Amy Poehler.
While pretending to drink alcohol on stage, Fey told Swift to “stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son” and then proclaimed that Swift “needs some me time to learn about herself.”
