Star: Miley Cyrus Should Dump “Bossy,” “Controlling” Liam Hemsworth

This week’s Star contains the latest in a series of odd, smearing stories in the tabloids that paint Liam Hemsworth as a bad boyfriend, a controlling douche, a guy who’s only looking out for himself and his reputation by trying to tame his party-girl girlfriend, Miley Cyrus.
Previously, back in September, Us Weekly claimed that Hemsworth controlled and isolated Cyrus from her friends in a story that boiled down to him disapproving of her acting like drunken, drugged-out trash and asking that they spend more time together at home. A source told the magazine: “He wanted her to calm down and stop going out as much. Now they’re doing more things like game nights and having friends come over. They have a lot of fun together!”
Then, in February, National Enquirer printed a laboured lie about Cyrus getting her nine tattoos removed at Hemsworth’s behest with him supposedly saying “I hate it. Get rid of them all!”… the story came out three days before she got another tattoo as he watched. A source told Enquirer Hemsworth gave an ultimatum on pain of losing him altogether: “Liam is much more straitlaced than Miley, and he hates the trashy look she sometimes favors. They’ve had some heated fights over her body ink. He says it will permanently typecast her as a bad girl. If they start a family together, he doesn’t want the mother of his children sending the message that it’s OK to desecrate your body. It’s very painful to remove the tattoos, but Miley says it’s worth it if it means keeping Liam happy.”
And now Star is joining in, claiming that Hemsworth controls his girlfriend.
A source tells Star that Cyrus’ friends dislike Hemsworth and want the couple to split: “He’s bossy and controlling, and it’s just understood that Miley always pays for them. Her pals all think he’s just a dumb surfer and a pothead.”
Star continues that Cyrus will ignore friends as she hopes to marry Hemsworth and move to his native Australia. But the embittered friends think there’s still time: “Everyone would breathe a big sigh of relief if she dumped Liam and moved on.”
