Miley Cyrus Getting Married Soon? “Next Week Will Be Filled With Happiness”

Since Miley Cyrus announced her engagement with confirmation to People Magazine, the 19-year-old, who will marry 22-year-old Liam Hemsworth, suggested she would have a long engagement. Both her parents reacted to the engagement on Twitter by saying they were supportive. Sources concurred that her parents, who were complicit in the hook-up on The Last Song while Cyrus was only 16, “love” Hemsworth “like family.” Her mother wants the couple to be happy and left alone by the media, her father is quietly hoping for a really, really protracted engagement-of-years.
Except, the teenager just sparked reports that she’s getting married this weekend with an ill-worded tweet: “Super lazy Sunday! Can’t wait for next week! It’ll be filled with happiness =]” Since then, she’s been sharing third-party quotes about rebuilding her life: ”Life is to short, stop compromising your happiness. Happiness is a right, a privilege that you deserve.” ”I wouldn’t mind if all my big plans fell apart. Left me empty handed I’ll start again like new. If your with me how can I lose?”
For what it’s worth, no, she’s probably not had time to plan the wedding herself (or with the help of her mother and sisters) since May 31, with Hemsworth away filming in New Orleans. If she did plan a wedding the past month, it’ll be stripped down and rushed, and not really fitting after three years together. Moreover, her reps are denying this to GossipCop.com with the same reasoning; it’s too soon, and Hemsworth is busy.
It’s been less than a month since Liam Hemsworth popped the question to Miley Cyrus with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane. But is Cyrus, 19, already ready to swap out her latest belly-baring ensembles (and summer-ready swimwear) for something a little more dressy: like a wedding gown? Perhaps, the bride-to-be hints on Twitter, as she addresses some big plans for next weekend.
“Super lazy Sunday!” she Tweeted. “Can’t wait for next week! It’ll be filled with happiness.”
Cyrus didn’t say whether she plans on tying the knot in the next few days, which leaves the source of her “happiness” up for discussion (much like the style of her wedding dress).
Hemsworth’s rep, however, denied that he and Cyrus were planning to tie the knot this week, telling Gossip Cop that the Aussie is busy filming his new movie in New Orleans and is only “back in L.A. for a night next week to receive an award from Australians in Film on the 27th.”
Perhaps Cyrus is getting a head start on her Independence Day festivities with a “Party in the U.S.A”-worthy celebration. Or is she just planning some quality time with one of her rescue pups, aptly named Happy?
