Report: Miley Cyrus “Threatened,” “Insecure” About Liam Hemsworth

For those wondering why Miley Cyrus wore a belly shirt to The Hunger Games movie premiere, why she appeared to pretend to be engaged the weekend of its release, and why she spent the past week exposing her privates, sources say she’s acting out because of boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

There have been a lot of tabloid reports about the couple. It’s claimed that Hemsworth is a “bossy,” “controlling” stupid pothead disliked by his girlfriend’s friends. Tabloids elaborate that Hemsworth tries to control how often Cyrus parties, and tries to tame her into becoming a more docile homebody. It was even claimed he tried to pressure Cyrus into removing her tattoos, although that’s clearly not true because the couple have matching tattoos on their ankles and the day that report came out there were photos of Hemsworth sitting with Cyrus while she got a bicep tattoo.

In any case, there are claims that Cyrus is insecure Hemsworth may leave for co-star Jennifer Lawrence. And Cyrus is reportedly generally insecure that her boyfriend, former actor in Australian soap opera Neighbours, who was famous for staring in The Last Song and then losing Thor to his brother, could outgrow the 19-year-old. That Hemsworth, 22, could become bored and/or trade up. So Cyrus has resorted to “cheating” and attention-seeking to keep Hemsworth’s attention.

Now sources tell HollywoodLife.com that Cyrus feels “insecure” and “threatened” by her boyfriend’s recent ascent to fame.

“I think Miley feels insecure about her relationship with Liam right now,” the insider said. “Let’s face it, Liam has a lot on his plate right now. His career is blowing up and he has a promising future, thanks to The Hunger Games and some other impressive projects.”

Not only is The Hunger Games doing exceedingly well in the box office, Liam, 22, is about to start shooting Empire State with Dwayne Johnson and Emma Roberts. Then he’s off to shoot Broken Run with John Singleton AND Arabian Nights with Morgane Slemp, who’s gorgeous.

“Miley is feeling threatened,” our source said, explaining, “When she first met Liam, he was not well known at all. I think she is just crying out for attention and she’s worried she may lose him.” – via HollywoodLife.
