Miley Cyrus on Her Haircut: “It Changed Everyone Else’s Life More Than it Changed Mine”

Miley Cyrus unfollowed Liam Hemsworth on Twitter on Saturday, then their reps confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday that they’d called off the engagement altogether. “They’ve split for now,” a source told RadarOnline. However, there’s still hope, “Miley and Liam have a very tumultuous relationship and both are exhausted. It’s a complicated relationship. The wedding is on hold, for now. It’s not cancelled but it doesn’t look promising.”
Turns out, although Miley didn’t comment on unfollowing her beau, she did confirm to Harper’s Bazaar weeks beforehand that she had stopped bothering with the wedding planning. “I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now,” she told Harper’s, adding that she will “at some point.” Weeks after saying that in interview, however, it was over completely. Yikes.
There’s more interesting stuff in her interview, though. She gives a hilariously pompous statement about her hair, saying “It changed everyone else’s life more than it changed mine.” Um… okay.
She adds, of her behaviour, “I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I’m an adult and I’m acting like a kid.” Adding of her upbringing, “My parents always had money, and I’ve always been around this industry, so I didn’t have my mind blown or become obsessed with being famous.”
Finally, she says of her personal style, which is basically just throwing Chanel pieces together, “I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they’re ‘fashion.’ But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I’m on a whole other level of shit that those girls don’t even get yet because they don’t know how to do it.”
