Miley Cyrus Posts Picture With Mom & Sister After Divorce Announcement

Mere days after Miley Cyrus’ parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish, announced their divorce after 19 years of marriage, she tweeted a picture of herself, her mom and her sister looking blonde, smiley and happy.
The picture, sans Billy Ray, was posted on Father’s Day. Later, Miley did tweet at her dad wishing him a happy “daddy’s day,” as she referred to it. Although reports say that Miley hasn’t seemed too down about her parents’ decision, sister Noah, 13, tweeted “Please pray for me and my family” after the public announcement, which caused speculation that the divorce was extra tough on Miley’s little sister than on herself. Noah, the youngest child of the Cyrus clan, still lives with her parents, which makes it harder as far as living arrangements, and the overall emotional impact at such a young age.
Three years ago, Billy Ray filed for divorce, later deciding to revoke his request and try to make his marriage work again. Despite working on their relationship, Tish was the one to file for divorce, officially seeking to end their marriage citing “irreconcilable differences.”
As far as Miley’s relationship with her father goes, the pair were briefly estranged in 2011, but Billy Ray has come forward saying that he enjoys “being her daddy and her friend” and that he is “very proud of her.” But Thursday night, Miley tweeted at him a less-than-happy message writing, “Billy Ray Cyrus, since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?” Whatever the relationship status may be between members of the Cyrus family, we can only hope they find a solution to their family issues.
