Dina Eastwood Thinks Mrs Eastwood and Company Reality Show Is “High End”
Mrs Eastwood and Company is the reality shill vehicle of Clint Eastwood’s wife, Dina Eastwood, and his daughters, mostly Morgan (his daughter with Dina) and Francesca (his daughter from a former relationship) the latter of whom is dating celebrity photographer Tyler Shields who’s not above tacky publicity stunts to shill the show (there’s also some musical act the wife is trying to make happen but no one cares about them just like no one cared about Kris Jenner promoting BG5 the girl group).
The actor Eastwood’s television and film career spans more than 50 years on which the wife seems keen to piggyback for money she doesn’t need. Because, as Jenner’s lust for fame has taught us, it’s important to value fame as an end goal above all else and at any cost. The 82-year-old stalwart isn’t really interested in the project, but he deigns to appear on this train wreck in cameo. Good for him, honestly. The show’s a pretty un-watchable, incoherent mess. And it’s not even entertaining.
Dina Eastwood, 46, seems to think the formulaic, staged mess is “high end.” And it probably is, in her head. She’s given this delusional interview with Hello! Magazine admitting her husband’s reticence.
On the content of the show: “I’m very aware that they are very young, so I am the gatekeeper,” says Dina of Morgan and Francesca. “One time I felt the show was pushing the boundaries with talk about sex, and said so. My daughter called me sexually repressed. I’m not but I just don’t like what’s not appropriate and I very much want to keep the show high end.”
On Clint Eastwood’s involvement with the show: “When we started, Clint wasn’t going to be in it at all, and the TV company was cool about that. Thank God that for most of the eight weeks we filmed he was doing a movie in Atlanta with Justin Timberlake. But he voluntarily came to a family wedding with me, in fact of course he would, but he was kind enough to be miked up for that. And he came to a dinner with all of us in the Mission Ranch in Carmel, which he owns.” – via Hello Magazine, Celebitchy.
