MTV cancels Teen Mom 3 after only one season
Teen Mom 3 is over! After much hype and promotion, the show premiered on MTV in August 2013 and completed its 14-episode run in November.
Briana DeJesus, Mackenzie Douthit, Alexandria Sekella, and Katie Yeager were in the news back in April, when it was rumoured that the network would dump the show without airing any of its episodes. Those rumours weren’t true, however, MTV has pulled the plug on Teen Mom 3 after only one season. Leaving its cast reeling about it on Twitter.
Katie Yeager tweeted, “I’m grateful for this experience. Molli [her daughter] and I are ready to move on from this and live a normal life. Thanks for all the love and support.”
Briana DeJesus tweeted, “Teen Mom 3 was one of the best experiences I ever had! I will never forget it!” Adding, “Time to move on from MTV and do bigger and better things & no I don’t mean become a p*rn star lol,” seemingly mocking Farrah Abraham.
Alexandria Sekella added, “Yes no more teen mom 3. Guess we weren’t enough of train wrecks for it to be interesting. America wants to watch crazies oh well #relieved,” seemingly mocking the Teen Mom 2 cast.
Jenelle Evans was not amused, tweeting, “All u TeemMom3 ladies can put me down all yu want, yr not making yrself look any better. Let it go already.”
Kailyn Lowry added, “I can’t help but be a little offended by some of the things the girls of TM3 are saying. Cancelled or not we all relate somehow.”
