NeNe Leakes’ Wedding Cost $1.8 Million!
You don’t have to wait for NeNe Leakes’ upcoming Bravo reality show, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, to get the details on the very lavish wedding ceremony during which she remarried Gregg Leakes.
NeNe and Gregg spared no expense during their June 22 nuptials, spending $1.8 million on the ceremony. In front of 400 guests, including Kim Zolciak, Gretchen Rossi and Vivica A. Fox, Gregg gave NeNe a 10-carat diamond band to go along with her 15.2-carat engagement ring we saw him present her on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
And NeNe’s ring wasn’t the only bling. The bride wore a $50,000 Baracci dress during the ceremony and changed into a $20,000 Pnina Tornai dress for the reception.
The mother of two was walked down the aisle by her sons, Brentt and Bryson. “That was so emotional for me,” she shares with Life & Style magazine. “And Gregg telling me I was beautiful — that was really special. I had a lot of teary moments.”
“It was more romantic this time than the first,” she continues. “Gregg and I are real adults, so it was better.”
As for the food, guests dined on comfort foods like homemade biscuits, mac ’n’ cheese, shrimp and grits and fried chicken, and a custom 10-tier cake filled with vanilla cream topped the evening.
“I feel amazing,” NeNe says reliving the moment. “Both of us want this, so it will definitely work this time. I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.”
It sounds like Nene got everything she could wanted and could dream of in the perfect wedding. I guess she really is rich…b*%&^
