The New Ladies Of RHONJ Have Had Financial Issues In The Past
Not much is known about the new additions to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but according to a new report, they should fit right in with the returning women. Not only do the ladies look the part, they also have financial backgrounds similar to those of their co-stars — and not in a good way.
Radar Online recently learned that season 6′s resident twins, Nicole and Teresa Napolitano, have dealt with a couple of financial issues in the past, much like those of their soon-to-be co-star Teresa Giudice, who is currently facing 50 years behind bars for charges of fraud.
“In 2012, Nicole — whose married name is Mauriello — faced a lawsuit from Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute which alleged she hadn’t paid an outstanding medical bill of $1599.52,” Radar reports. “She was ordered to pay a total of $1,882.72 which included court fees.”
Since the judgement was made, Nicole defaulted on $557.86 of the amount, which “resulted in a levy being filed against her bank account last February.”
Nicole’s sister Teresa “was sued by her credit card company, Capital One, in 2010 for an unpaid charge of $1,702.08,” the site continues. “Teresa entered into a ‘Stipulation of Settlement’ with the organization in October 2010, agreeing to pay $1,392.44, less than the whole amount she owed.”
However, court documents state that Teresa only paid $850.00 and defaulted on the rest, which led her to be charged an additional $1.094.19.
Also joining the Napolitano twins on season 6 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is Amber Marchese. So far, there is no word on any financial issues regarding Amber.
