One Direction Hoping To Win Over The Fans Justin Bieber Is Losing With His Bad Behaviour?
June 11, 2013 by Hollywoodite
Three times last week, Justin Bieber was accused of instigating altercations between his security and paparazzi that allegedly escalated to one of his security pulling a gun on a paparazzo who took pictures of the singer on public property. Another of the paparazzi claimed to have been choked by Bieber’s security.
Although, despite there being some audio evidence, Bieber is never going to get in trouble for this because there’s little hard evidence of his involvement. And even though charges have been filed, the security will probably get away with their behaviour too.
It’s a well-established pattern of entitlement at this point. Of drinking, drugging, driving recklessly, clubbing, and hanging out with models and indulging in every other cliche that seems to represent the singer’s growing pains.
It’s apparently turning some young fans off the troubled teenager. So much so that, according to a new report, fans are looking for more clean-cut alternatives… like One Direction who are almost 100% vanilla.
An insider close to the boy band exclusively reveals… that Justin’s bad-boy behavior isn’t boding well with his younger fans, and One Direction plans to capitalize on it.
“One Direction is benefitting greatly from Justin’s a**hole behavior,” the source said. “All of the little girls that loved Bieber don’t love him anymore because ‘he’s bad’ and they are moving on to One Direction.”
And it’s not just the fans that have had it with Bieber — it’s the parents.
“The parents of these young fans are resentful of Justin’s behavior and don’t think he’s a wholesome influence on their children anymore,” the source said. “So they’re pushing for their kids to like One Direction instead.”
It’s out with Bieber, and in with Harry Styles.
“A lot of the girls that loved Bieber are now crushing on Harry Styles,” the insider told Radar. “And it’s not lost on the boys of One Direction. Both them and their team is fully aware that they are gaining fans who used to love Bieber, and they know it’s the perfect time to capitalize on it and swoop in to replace him.” – via RadarOnline.
