Why Did Paris Hilton Turn Down Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Finale Cameo?
As you may recall, Paris Hilton’s aunts Kim Richards and Kyle Richards were featured on Hilton’s The Simple Life reality pilot in 2003; the latter mentioning something in passing about how her niece arrived in style in a helicopter. Nearly a decade on, the Richards sisters, Hilton’s maternal aunts, are featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and producers have asked the 31-year-old to appear in cameo for ratings and for some phoned-in bonding with extended family. To which she said no because lackluster DJing abroad as the panacea to her underemployment takes priority.
A source tells RadarOnline.com: “Paris was asked to be a part of the finale which will take place in mid-July. She is a big fan of the show and totally supports her family appearing on it, but had to decline because she will be out of the country. Paris will be extremely busy promoting her new album, and just has too much going on right now to commit to taking on anymore projects. Producers were hopeful Paris would be able to be a part of the finale, which they could have promoted and publicized. Paris definitely would have greatly bolstered the ratings for the finale, but, her schedule just couldn’t accommodate it. Paris’ aunts, Kim and Kyle also wanted her to be on the show, but they completely understand.”
